Music… Friendship… Worship...
Our aim is to beautify the worshipping life of the churches in Walsingham and beyond, strengthening the wider community and friendships between different traditions as we build God’s Kingdom together through classical and liturgical music.
Led by Royal College of Music trained singer, Justin Harmer, plans for our repertoire will develop organically according to membership capability. The aim is to build towards large scale oratorio performances as well as regular liturgical contribution to the churches in Walsingham and further afield.
Educated at Trinity College of Music Junior Department, York University and King’s London as well as as a senior exhibitioner at the RCM, Justin is currently Acting Musical Director of Medici Choir, an 85 strong choral society based in Holborn, London. He has taught singing and piano privately and in primary, secondary and tertiary settings for a number of years, as well as with Norton Rose Fulbright and Macquarie Capital with the company Music in Offices. His debut album of production music was published with Warner Chappell in November. He is an organist at St Mary’s RC Church Clapham and Director of Music at St Michael’s C of E Church Stockwell, as well as Artistic Director and founder of their annual Arts Festival. He moved to Hindringham in November, with his wife Charlotte and their young son, Isidore.
